Department of Classics welcomes Andrew Faulkner, Associate Professor of the University of Waterloo. Faulkner will explore the tradition of early Christian classicizing poetry in the 4th and 5th centuries, with particular attention given to the hexameter paraphrase of the Psalms, which was traditionally attributed to the heretical 4th-century bishop Apollinaris.
