Lecture: "The Christian Humanism of Russell Kirk"

Tocqueville Program for Inquiry Into Religion and Public Life and the Potenziani Program in Constitutional Studies welcomes Bradley Birzer back to campus to present the lecture “The Christian Humanism of Russell Kirk”. Birzer, Professor of History at Hillsdale College, is a 1990 alumnus of the University of Notre Dame. A signing of his book Russell Kirk: American Conservative will follow the lecture.

He is the author of several other books, including American Cicero: The Life of Charles Carroll and J.R.R. Tolkien’s Sanctifying Myth: Understanding Middle-earth, and the co-founder of the online publication, The Imaginative Conservative.
