To celebrate the forthcoming English translation of Étienne Gilson’s Jean Duns Scot, introduction à ses positions fondamentalesin the ‘Illuminating Modernity’ book series (Bloomsbury Academic), we are hosting a day conference in order to consider Duns Scotus, Gilson’s controverted work on Scotus, and the future legacy of the Subtle Doctor.
