The Department of Art, Art History and Design presents an artist talk titled Trends in Contemporary Art with Mary Cecilia Mitsch, Director of Boesky East Gallery (New York City) and Notre Dame alumna (BA 2010).
Mary Cecilia Mitsch has been working in New York City’s “art world” at contemporary art galleries for nearly five years. She will be discussing her experiences that have led her on this career track, as well as lending insight into opportunities within the contemporary art world. And she will also attempt to identify what guides contemporary artists, galleries, museums, collectors and the market alike for a better understanding for those who have interest in engaging with the industry.
