-

Location: Riley Hall, Room 200

Mary Cecilia Mitsch, director of the Boesky East Gallery, New York City, presents “Trends in Contemporary Art.”

Mary Cecilia Mitsch (BA 2010) has been working in New York City’s “art world” at contemporary art galleries for nearly 5 years. She will be discussing her experiences that have led her on this career track, as well as lending insight into opportunities within the contemporary art world. And she will also attempt to identify what guides contemporary artists, galleries, museums, collectors and the market alike for a better understanding for those who have interest in engaging with the industry.

Lecture and luncheon organized by Professor Nicole Woods on behalf of the Department of Art, Art History and Design.
