Guided Mindfulness Meditation

Location: O'Shaughnessy West Gallery, Snite Museum of Art

Guided mindfulness meditation offers another kind of art experience beyond simply looking at works of art. Contemplative engagement is a way of connecting to a work of art and a means of turning inward toward the personal and the spiritual. Join us at the Snite Museum, where the exhibition “Transitory Waterscapes” is the inspiration and the setting for this guided mindfulness meditation.

No prior experience needed. This meditation series is being led by teacher Megan Smedley. A second session will be held on November 18.

Co-sponsored by the Snite Museum of Art and the McDonald Center for Student Well-Being.
