“Translating Realism: The Nature and Emergence of Contemporary French Thought” is an interdisciplinary conference that aims to both disseminate and engage with the most innovative developments in French thought in the 21st century.
Topics will range from recent French interventions into the philosophy of science to potential transformations in Continental philosophy of religion. While intervening in contemporary debates, papers will also aim to contextualize these shifts in French thought with respect to their theoretical ancestors and to chart new ways for thinking to move forward.
