“A Unique Collection of Medieval Manuscripts which are Witnesses of Medieval European Culture – The Story of a Discovery Process”

Fr. Szabolcs Anzelm Szuromi, President of the Institute of Canon Law at Pázmány Péter Catholic University (Hungary), will discuss the National Library of St. Petersburg’s medieval Latin collection of manuscripts from the seventh to fourteenth centuries. The collection includes manuscripts from the Norbertine Abbey of Weissenau and the Abbey of St. Germain des Prés (Paris).
