Grant Mudge, the Ryan Producing Artistic Director for the Notre Dame Shakespeare Festival, will introduce the film.

Caius Martius “Coriolanus” (Ralph Fiennes), a revered and feared Roman general, is pushed by his controlling and ambitious mother Volumnia (Vanessa Redgrave) to seek the exalted and powerful position of Consul. Loath to ingratiate himself with the masses, he is expelled from Rome after the public refuses to support him. The banished hero must then ally with his sworn enemy Tullus Aufidius (Gerard Butler) to seek his revenge.
