Kate Mondloch, associate professor of art history, University of Oregon
Mondloch recently published a book titled Screens: Viewing Media Installation Art. Her research interests focus on late 20th- and early 21st- century art, theory, and criticism, particularly on the individuals, practices, and technologies that cross the boundaries between art and media. Her research areas are wide-ranging and include postwar sculpture, experimental film and video, digital culture, contemporary craft, and feminism. She is interested especially in theories of spectatorship and subjectivity, and in research methods that bridge the sciences and humanities.
