Lina Insana, associate professor of Italian, University of Pittsburgh

Insana, who studies Holocaust literature and film; Sicilian literature; Italian-American literature; literature of Fascism and resistance; Italian detective fiction; and images of southern Italy in European literature, has recently published a book titled Arduous Tasks: Primo Levi, Translation, and the Transmission of Holocaust Testimony (University of Toronto Press, 2009).
