This is the North American premiere of Tarik O’Regan’s Acallam na Senórach commissioned by the University of Notre Dame: a substantial work for chamber choir, guitar, and percussion based on one of the most important ancient Irish texts to survive the Middle Ages.
A symposium discussing the work will take place before the chamber choir performs in the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center’s Browning Cinema. Speakers include:
