Jointly organized by the Department of Irish Language and Literature, the Keough-Naughton Institute for Irish Studies, and the Fulbright Commission in Ireland, this conference will bring together those teaching the Irish language in the U.S. to explore current practice, future possibilities, and a report on the current state of play regarding Irish language learning in the United States.
This conference is aimed at those teaching the Irish language in the United States to:
- present the findings of report into Irish Language Teaching in the U.S. being undertaken by the Language Centre at National University of Ireland Maynooth
- and explore current practice and future possibilities in terms of teaching, testing, resources, and collaborations.
