Peter Smith, University of Ulster

Smith is currently a lecturer in Irish in the Irish and Celtic Studies Research Institute at Magee College, Derry. His areas of research include medieval Irish literature, 18th century Ulster poetry, and the manuscript tradition in Irish. He is also interested in Irish folksong and has contributed to the New Dictionary of National Biography.
