Medieval Institute Graduate Student Invitational Lecture

Location: Hesburgh Library, Medieval Institute Reading Room, Room 715J

Peter Casarella, professor of Catholic studies and director of the Center for World Catholicism and Intercultural Theology at DePaul University

Professor Casarella’s past research has examined many aspects of the writings of Nicholas of Cusa. Currently, he is working on separate studies of Bonaventure and Hans Urs von Balthasar.

Each year, the Medieval Institute’s graduate students select and invite a speaker to deliver a lecture and offer a graduate seminar. Professor Casarella is the 2011 invitee.
