How About Doing Senior Thesis Research in Europe?

-

Location: DeBartolo Hall, Room 329

The Center for the Study of Languages and Cultures is hosting a series of student talks on doing senior thesis research in Europe. At this event, you will be able to hear from three Nanovic Institute for European Studies student scholars as they tell us about their experiences doing research in Europe:

* Sarah Grothaus (2011, Film, Television and Theatre) is a minor in European studies and a Nanovic grant recipient. During her Fall Break, she went to the Czech Republic to conduct thesis research. * Ann Weber (2011, History and Theology) is a Nanovic grant recipient. She spent a part of last summer in Austria conducting thesis research. * Claire Brown (2011, Anthropology) has received multiple Nanovic grants since her sophomore year. She has spent portions of two consecutive summers in Ireland conducting thesis research.

This event is free and open to all. Refreshments will be provided.
