Native American Reading Group: David Treuer's "The Hiawatha"

-

Location: O'Shaughnessy Hall, Room 339

Please join the Native American Reading Group for a discussion of David Treuer’s The Hiawatha. This book, set in Minneapolis during the Relocation era of the 1960s, is “an elegy to the American dream and to the sometimes tragic experience of the Native Americans who helped build it.”

This event is free and open to anyone who has read the book and would like to join the discussion, including students, faculty, staff, and the public.
