Guillermo O’Donnell (PhD, Yale University) is renowned for his extensive scholarship on authoritarianism, democratization, and democratic theory. His work centers on Latin American politics and society but is widely applicable to other regions of the world. The Kellogg Institute’s first academic director, O’Donnell has been instrumental in the Institute’s growth and development.
