Fall Break Senior Thesis Camp

-

Location: Hesburgh Library, Lower Level

The program is designed to assist seniors who are writing theses in the College of Arts and Letters. Students will have the opportunity to jumpstart the research and writing process by working in dedicated spaces in the library and by consulting with librarians and writing tutors about their work. The program will help students establish a framework for writing and research that will enable them to work effectively. Through informal conversations and short presentations of their research, they will also develop a sense of community with other students. Members of the Center for Undergraduate Scholarly Engagement will talk about the annual research fair and opportunities for graduate study.

The library will provide breakfast and refreshments each day, and there will be a lunch on the final day to celebrate the completion of the program.

This program will continue all throughout fall break and will end on Friday, October 22, 2010.
