A beautiful biopic of French painter Séraphine Louis (1864–1942) and her extraordinary, unexpected art. Winner of seven French Cesar Awards including best picture and best actress for Yolande Moreau. Professor Vittorio Hosle, director of the Institute for Advanced Study and the Kimball Chair of Arts and Letters at the University of Notre Dame, will introduce the film.
