ShakeScenes

Location: Washington Hall

Collected scenes by William Shakespeare

Did you know that the boy next door is writing love poems and tacking them to the trees in his backyard? Or that your daughter’s high school teacher is actually the king of England? Or even that the woman who helps you check out your library books is desperately in love with a local duke named Orlando?

You’ll find delight in each performance of ShakeScenes, where local grade schoolers, high school students, and other members of the community take to the stage. Together, they present an assortment of short scenes taken from the works of Shakespeare.
