This is the second of two events for Cave Canem at Notre Dame. The first is a panel discussion on April 26, 2010, from 2:30pm–4:15pm in DeBartolo Hall, Room 125.
Cornelius Eady, associate professor of English at Notre Dame, and Toi Derricotte founded Cave Canem in 1996 in order to give African American poets a place of their own in the literary landscape. Cave Canem is a home for the many voices of African American poetry and is committed to cultivating the artistic and professional growth of African American poets.
