Daniel Drezner
Tufts University

Professor Daniel Drezner is Professor of International Politics at the Fletcher School of Diplomacy and International Law at Tufts University. He is currently serving as a senior editor at the The National Interest.

Professor Drezner has written several books, including most recently Avoiding Trivia: The Role of Strategic Planning in American Foreign Policy (2009); All Politics is Global: Explaining International Regulatory Regimes (2007); and U.S. Trade Strategy: Free versus Fair (2006). He has also written numerous articles in academic journals as well as the popular press such as The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal. Professor Drezner also maintains an active blog at Prior to his appointment at Tufts University, Professor Drezner taught at the University of Chicago and the University of Colorado, and held positions with the Civic Education Project, the RAND Corporation, and the Department of the Treasury.
