Beverly will show clips from “Project Rebirth” and “Learning to Swallow.” She’ll discuss what it means to document trauma, how to locate and gain trust with your subjects, the importance of staying with a story over time, and how to maintain a sense of humor in the face of intense documentary situations, as well as the opportunities for women in documentary film production.
