You are invited to DMA student Joseph Balistreri's lecture portion of his recital which will describe Gregorian chant accompaniment practices in France and Belgium from the 1820s to the 1920s and discuss how the recital demonstrates these accompaniments as well as music by composers who engaged in the developments in accompaniment.
