Christopher Krebs works at Stanford University as the Gesue and Helen Spogli Professor in Italian Studies, Professor of Classics and, by courtesy, of German Studies & Comparative Literature. His areas of focus include intellectual history, Greek and Roman historiography, and Latin philology. He recently co-edited the Cambridge Companion to Sallust (CUP, 2024).
