Any undergraduate student who at any time during an academic term wishes to withdraw from the University should contact an assistant dean in the Office for Undergraduate Studies to discuss the implications of this decision.
A student who withdraws:
- must apply for readmission to Notre Dame in order to resume a course of study.
- will be required to remain away from the University for two full semesters.
- for personal or health reasons must receive clearance for re-admittance from the University Counseling Center, University Health Services, or both, as determined by the Office of Student Affairs.
To begin the withdrawal process, you should meet with your advising dean in the Office for Undergraduate Studies.
