Part-Time Status


Part-time status is defined as fewer than 12 credit hours per semester and is reserved for seniors in their final semester.


A student interested in pursuing part-time status must seek approval from the Office for Undergraduate Studies.

Students seeking part-time status must make an appointment with their advising dean to discuss and initiate the process either in the class registration period in the semester preceding the student’s final semester or early in the week of the final semester in order to ensure the process is completed by the sixth class day of the final (graduation) semester. Part-time status will not be finalized until all relevant signatures are recorded on the Graduating Semester Part-time Approval Request eForm.

Tuition is adjusted once the form is finalized.
