Undergraduate Profiles

Dana Lee [photo]Service flows from his faith

I have had the opportunity to participate in many types of community service during my time at Notre Dame. I got involved with the Knights of Columbus, and that organization has been an important part of my college experience. I have helped raise more than $170,000 for underprivileged women and children, for the developmentally disabled, and for foreign missions.

I attended the Gospel of Life Seminar with Notre Dame’s Center for Social Concerns in Washington, D.C., and have twice come to the March for Life. These experiences, in addition to my work with pro-life groups on campus, have broadened my understanding of the complex issues surrounding the dignity of human life.

I am currently a candidate at Moreau Seminary. I have been accepted to the Holy Cross Novitiate in Cascade, Colo., and will arrive there in August. I hope to return to Notre Dame, God willing, for a Master of Divinity degree and to continue my formation for religious life in the Congregation of Holy Cross.
