You will need to give him an idea of the enrollment in your classes which you can obtain from your department. Orders should be in as soon as possible in order to guarantee the presence of the books when you begin your courses.
Once your email account is set up, you may also order books online; click the “bookstore” link off the “Popular sites” pull-down menu on the Notre Dame homepage and follow the faculty services link to “e-adoptions,” or go directly to the Hammes Notre Dame Bookstore Faculty Services webpage.

What support is in place for women faculty?
In recent years the College has made a concerted effort to move more women faculty into leadership positions such as chairships and associate deanships; the College also annually appoints as Executive Fellow a tenured woman faculty member. University-wide initiatives that both promote and safeguard women's contributions to the intellectual mission of Notre Dame include the University Committee for Women Faculty and Students, the Provost's Distinguished Women's Lecturer series, a generous family leave policy, and the Office of Institutional Equity. The Office of Human Resources maintains a Work Life division that makes available a wealth of information to faculty and staff on matters such as child care, spousal employment, and elder care.
