Research Profile
Leahy's scholarly interests lie in the areas of labor economics and regional economics. He has written and edited five books in these areas as well as some fifty articles. In 1999 he was awarded the Kaneb Award for Distinguished Teaching. He has served as an administrator--Chair and Director of Undergraduate Studies and Advising--for over thirty years. Combining practical experience with his scholarly teaching and research, Leahy serves as Arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association and the United States Department of Labor in fields of employment and labor law.
