Research Profile
Askildson specializes in Foreign Language Pedagogy and Program Administration as well as French Linguistics. Her research interests include FL pedagogy (language teaching/supervision, teacher training, program administration, language teaching materials design), and language learning (Computer Language Learning [CALL], psycholinguistics). A native speaker of French with fluency in English and German, and a beginning knowledge of Chinese, Virginie will teach the graduate seminar in methods of teaching each fall and be a pedagogy resource for all five language departments.
