Research Profile

McKibben teaches Irish language and literature. Her research concerns poetry and politics, feminist/gender theory and postcolonialism. She received the 2004 Adele Dalsimer Dissertation Prize from the ACIS. She has articles in Éire-Ireland, Proceedings of the Harvard Celtic Colloquium and elsewhere, with articles forthcoming in Geographies and Genders in Irish Studies and The Midnight Court: A Critical Edition. She is completing a book examining gender and colonialism in Irish poetry from c.1540 to 1780.
