Research Profile
Maxwell's research interests are in the areas of research methodology, experimental design, and behavioral statistics. He is especially interested in statistical power analysis and longitudinal data analysis. He is an author (along with Harold D. Delaney) of Designing Experiments and Analyzing Data, a graduate-level textbook on experimental design. He received the Raymond B. Cattell Award from the Society of Multivariate Experimental Psychology in 1990. He served as Associate Editor of Psychological Bulletin from 1994 to 1996 and as Associate Editor of Psychological Methods from 2001 to 2007. He is currently serving as Editor of Psychological Methods.
