Research Profile

Affeldt works in moral and political philosophy, drawing upon Rousseau, Emerson, Nietzsche, and Wittgenstein. Recent publications on Rousseau have appeared in Political Theory, The Monist, and on Wittgenstein in Philosophical Topics. He is currently completing a book on Rousseau's Social Contract entitled The Citizen as The Legislator.
