Research Profile
Pamela Wojcik teaches film and is director of the FTT Honors Program. She is author of Guilty Pleasures: Feminist Camp from Mae West to Madonna (1996); editor of Movie Acting, The Film Reader (2004); and co-editor of Soundtrack Available: Essays on Film and Popular Music (2001). Wojcik has published widely on issue of performance, stars, gender, camp and sound. She is currently writing a book on apartment plots in mid-century American popular culture. Interests and courses include Film and Popular Music, Film Acting, Film Theory, Sex and Gender in Cinema, and Film Comedy.Contact Information
