Research Profile
Polzonetti studies 18th-century music and culture. He has published a book on Giuseppe Tartini (LIM, 2001) and several scholarly articles on opera studies. He has received the 2004 Einstein Award and research grants from the American Musicological Society, the National Endowment for the Humanities, and the American Council of Learned Societies. Polzonetti is the coeditor of The Cambridge Companion to Eighteenth-Century Opera and is writing a book on operatic representations of the American Revolution.
