Research Profile
Polzonetti is a musicologist specialized in 18th-century music and opera studies. He is the recipient of the Premio Internazionale Latina di Studi Musicali for his book on Giuseppe Tartini and the 2004 Einstein Award for his article on Mozart’s Così fan tutte, published in Cambridge Opera Journal. Pozonetti is currently working on a book on representations of revolutionary America in Italian eighteenth-century opera, and he is also co-editing the Cambridge Companion to 18th-Century Opera.
