Mark's primary research interests are in the areas of international macroeconomics and exchange rate economics. He has published in the American Economic Review, the Review of Economic Studies, the Economic Journal, the International Economic Review, the Journal of Monetary Economics, the Journal of Finance, and the Journal of International Economics. Mark is also the author of the graduate text International Macroeconomics and Finance: Theory and Econometric Methods, (Blackwell Publishers); Associate Editor of: Journal of International Economics, International Journal of Finance and Economics, Journal of Money, Credit, and Banking, Pacific Economic Review and New Zealand Economic Papers. Mark is listed in Who's Who in Economics 4th ed. (2003) and in Marquis Who's Who in America (2003). Rank 670 for publications (1990-2000) and 186 for citations (1990-2000) in Tom Coupe's study of the top 1000 economists. Professor Mark is Research Associate of the National Bureau of Economic Research.
