Research Profile
A native speaker of Spanish from Peru, Coloma received her M.A. in Spanish Linguistics and combines a strong background in methodologies of teaching languages and applied linguistics with college-level teaching at the University of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania State University, and Saint Mary's College. Among the subjects which she has experience and interests are: Spanish culture, language, conversation, and composition. As a faculty member at Notre Dame, her goal is to aid each student to not only language development, but a further grasp and realization of Hispanic culture.
