Research Profile
Kunicki's interests are in Twentieth century Eastern Europe, especially Poland; nationalism, fascism, and Communism; Church-State relations in communist Poland; Eastern European cinema. Publications include The Polish Crusader: The Life and Politics of Bolesław Piasecki, 1915-1979 (book manuscript in progress); as well as articles in East European Politics and Societies (EEPS), European Review of History, Transit. Kunicki has received the Jozef Tischner Fellowship award, Institute for Human Sciences, Vienna, 2005-2006
