Research Profile
Detlefsen works in the areas of logic and the foundations of mathematics. His special research interests include Goedel's incompleteness theorems and their philosophical significance, Hilbert's program, Brouwer's intuitionist ideas, Poincare's views of arithmetic reasoning and the use of imaginary elements in mathematics.
