Research Profile
Maurizio Albahari conducts research on Euro-Mediterranean, North American, and global issues related to migration, religious pluralism, and governance, including the politics of race, culture, and identity. His first book manuscript is titled Charitable Borders: Pastoral Power at the Southern Edge of Europe, and recent academic publications include contributions to the International Institute for the Study of Islam in the Modern World (ISIM) Review. Albahari is working on two new ethnographic projects on intercultural/interreligious dialogue in Europe and on the journey of transnational clergy.
