Research Profile
Kate Marshall works on twentieth-century American literature and media studies, and has additional interests in critical theory and science and technology. She has published articles on nanotechnology, DeLillo, and electronic literature, and has authored several digital-born critical pieces. Her current book project, Corridor: Media Architectures in American Fiction, reads the dominant topoi of modern American fiction -- its corridors, sewers, and transit infrastructure -- as media. In 2009, Marshall was a faculty fellow at the DAAD Interdisciplinary Seminar in German Studies at the University of Chicago.Contact Information
