Research Profile
Brading studied physics and philosophy at King's College London, and did her graduate work in philosophy of physics at Oxford University. She was Junior Research Fellow in Philosophy of Science at Wolfson College, Oxford, before moving to Notre Dame in 2004. Her research interests include structuralist approaches to physics, roles of symmetries in physics, and the problem of individuating bodies in seventeenth century natural philosophy. Publications include papers in BJPS, SHPMP and Philosophy of Science.
