Research Profile

Joshua Kaplan's courses include American Politics, Southern Politics, Civil Liberties and Civil Rights, and Political Theory. He is the author of Political Theory: The Classic Texts and Their Continuing Relevance (2006) and The People and the Ballot: A History of American Political Parties (2007), published by Recorded Books. He has been recognized by the APSA and Pi Sigma Alpha for outstanding teaching in political science. He received the Frank O'Malley Undergraduate Teaching Award in 2006 and the Kaneb Award for Excellence in Teaching in 2000 and 2006.
