Research Profile

Collett’s current research examines how exchange context, or the conditions under which individuals exchange, affects various affective and cognitive outcomes of these interactions. She is particularly interested in the implications of neutral third party intervention in exchange processes (Advances in Group Processes 2008) and relational outcomes like trust (forthcoming in Sociological Theory), solidarity (American Journal of Sociology 2007), conflict (Social Forces 2006), and predictions for positive future interactions.
