Research Profile

Pianist John Blacklow has appeared as soloist and chamber musician throughout the world. Past U.S. concert invitations include: Carnegie Hall; Lincoln Center; Disney Hall and Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles; Kennedy Center and Phillips Collection in Washington D.C.; National Public Radio's "Performance Today".  International venues include: Wigmore Hall, London; Cite de la Musique, Paris; Louvre Auditorium, Paris; Mozarteum, Salzburg; Musikverein, Vienna; HO-AM Art Hall, Seoul; Concertgebouw, Amsterdam; Philharmonie, Cologne; Symphony Hall, Birmingham; Palais des Beaux Arts, Brussels. He has recorded for Universal Music and EDI Records, and for many international television and radio stations such as Radio France, BBC-3 in London, Fuji Television in Japan, KBS-TV in South Korea, SWR and Bayerischen Rundfunk in Germany.
