Research Profile
Haeffel investigates how cognition contributes to risk and resilience for depression. He integrates work from multiple areas of psychology including clinical, cognitive, social, and molecular genetics. He hopes his research will lead to improved treatment and prevention interventions for depression, as well as insights into the mind-mood connection. Haeffel's work has been published in a number of top journals, including Psychological Science, Clinical Psychology Review, Behaviour Research and Therapy, Emotion, and Cognitive Therapy and Research.
