Research Profile
Essaka Joshua's research interests are in the literary perceptions of disability in British Romantic literature, the cultural significance of German universities, the 1790s, and folklore. She has published widely on Romantic and Victorian literature and her research has appeared in top scholarly journals such as the Journal of the History of Ideas, and Philological Quarterly. She is also the author of The Romantics and the May Day Tradition (2007) and Pygmalion and Galatea (2001).
