Research Profile

Dr. Klein currently serves as Associate Editor for the Journal of Family Issues, and as Consulting Editor for Sage Publications. He recently co-edited and contributed to Sourcebook of Family Theory and Research (2005) and has co-authored Family Theories (1996, 2002, 2007). His primary areas of research are relationship formation, intergenerational relations, and the history and philosophy of family studies.
